Sponsored Athletes
When possible, Miikki Service supports goal-oriented Finnish biathletes. The sponsored athlete may have already earned a place in the national team or has repeatedly demonstrated talent development through excellent performance. Sponsorship forms differ from a yearly contract in euros to product sponsorship. Long contracts are negotiated during a transition period in April.
Venla Lehtonen
I am a 28-year-old biathlete from Imatra. I represent Finland in the national biathlon A-team in the upcoming season. It is my goal to become better every year and reach my greatest potential as an athlete. My next big target is the Winter Olympic Games in 2026.
The goals I have set for myself require a lot, but I am determined in what I do and I will work hard to reach my goals.
In my free time I enjoy the company of my family, friends and our cat Nappi. In addition to sports, I like fashion, long breakfasts and going to the sauna.
Noora Kaisa Keränen
I am a 22-year-old biathlete from Joensuu. Biathlon has been a part of my everyday life for more than ten years, and currently I am part of the Finnish Biathlon Federation’s Terrafame group. In Finland, I represent Ahveniston Ampumahiihtäjät, the sports club where I started my career.
I am a perky and easily approachable young woman, who wishes to bring out her personality and joy of sports as an athlete. The best part of sports are the competition trips, and it is my goal to get to travel as a part of the roster for the World Cup from next year onwards. My highest achievements are winning bronze from the IBU Junior Open European Championships and several top 10 placements in both European and World Championships for juniors.
